Please note that regulatory limits on towing vehicle and trailer mass exist under Australian Standard AS4177. These limits reduce the allowable trailer mass below SAF-HOLLAND’s load ratings. In addition, operators must ensure that the respective masses of the towed and towing vehicles do not exceed the product’s 20 kN D-value. For further information, and advice on how to determine if the D-value is exceeded, refer to Vehicle Standards Guide 16 (VSG-16) on the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator website: www.nhvr.gov.au
